Bacteriostatic Water

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for laboratory use containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, which limits microbial growth after the vial has been punctured. It is a standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides.

This listing supplies 3 ml in a sealed multi-entry glass vial, a convenient size for reconstituting a single small research vial. Using a dedicated diluent vial for each preparation session helps keep reconstitution records simple and traceable. Store at 20–25 °C and do not freeze. Swab the stopper with alcohol before each entry and discard according to your laboratory's in-use policy.
