NAD+

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidised form) is a dinucleotide coenzyme made of an adenine nucleotide and a nicotinamide nucleotide joined through their phosphate groups. It is a central redox cofactor and a routine reagent in enzymology, metabolism and cell-biology research. Its CAS registry number is 53-84-9.

This listing supplies 1000 mg of NAD+ as a lyophilised powder, with a stated purity of 99.35% by HPLC. Store sealed at -20 °C, protected from light and moisture. For laboratory handling, allow the sealed vial to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Reconstitute according to your validated protocol using an appropriate sterile diluent, such as bacteriostatic water, added slowly down the vial wall; swirl gently rather than shaking. Reconstituted material is normally kept at 2–8 °C and aliquoted to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
